Fractional ASO manager for your app

I join your team as an outsourced ASO manager and run your app's ASO day to day on the App Store and Google Play, without you having to make a full-time hire.

Start with a free mini audit of your store listing: no strings attached, no cost.

Who it's for

Hiring an outsourced ASO manager makes sense if one of these sounds like you:

  • A mid-sized studio or company with one or more live apps. You need someone running ASO on an ongoing basis, but you don't want to, or can't yet, hire a full-time person.
  • A marketing or product team already acquiring users through other channels. You know organic is underperforming, but nobody has the time to give it attention every week.
  • An indie developer whose app is starting to take off. You'd rather hand ASO over and keep your focus on the product.

The problem I solve is always the same: ASO is not something you do once and forget. Keywords shift, competitors move, updates and seasons come round, and a listing nobody looks after goes stale. As a fractional ASO manager I give you that continuity without the cost or commitment of a hire.

What's included

  • A first month spent getting to know you. Before changing anything, I make sure I understand your product inside out: what you sell, what your users are looking for and need, which product matters most, how you acquire users today, which launches and updates are coming, how your team works and who your main competitors are.
  • Keyword strategy on the App Store and Google Play, tracking the rankings that actually matter.
  • Listing optimisation: title, subtitle, keyword field and descriptions.
  • Creatives: direction and hands-on help with the icon, screenshots and video.
  • A/B testing on both stores, with a plan for what to test and in which order.
  • In-App Events and organic Custom Product Pages when they fit your release calendar.
  • Working with marketing and product, so whatever is new in the app reaches the listing too.
  • A monthly report covering impressions, downloads from search and from browse, listing conversion rate, rankings for your key keywords and A/B test results.

Why monthly and not weekly? Because a week is far too short to measure organic. A month of data lets you decide the next step properly.

The tools I use every day: Sensor Tower, Looker, App Store Connect, AppsFlyer and Google Play Console.

The experience behind it

I've spent around 7 years in ASO, much of it as an ASO manager inside the team:

  • ASO Manager at West520 since January 2024. I run 6 apps at the same time with this same method: a monthly report, ongoing A/B tests, In-App Events and organic Custom Product Pages. On one of them, new screenshots lifted listing conversion by 3%.
  • ASO Manager at Binance/CoinMarketCap (2022–2023). The CoinMarketCap app wasn't optimised for any country. I owned the decision end to end: we expanded it into global markets, working down from tier 1 to tier 4 countries, to win impressions.
  • App Radar (2021–2022), one of the best-known ASO platforms and agencies in the industry. As an App Marketing Specialist I did ASO consulting for the platform's largest accounts: games with tens of millions of users and global brands such as 8 Ball Pool (over 1 billion downloads), Golf Battle, World of Warships, Kingdom Rush and Adidas Running.
  • FlipaClip, as a freelancer. An app with tens of millions of downloads where I handled ASO, In-App Events and new screenshots.

Running several apps at once forces me to keep a tidy process and to prioritise whatever moves downloads most. That's what I bring to yours.

How we work, in 4 steps

  1. Free mini audit. If your app is already live, I review your listing and tell you what I'd change first. No commitment.
  2. Proposal. A fixed-price foundation that gets your keyword strategy and listing in shape, plus optional monthly management with me as your outsourced ASO manager.
  3. Paid upfront, no lock-in. You pay before each phase starts and can stop whenever you want.
  4. Work and measurement. I make the changes, run the tests and send you the monthly report with results and next steps.

Frequently asked questions

What does a fractional ASO manager do?
The same as an in-house ASO manager, from the outside: keyword strategy, listing optimisation, creatives, A/B tests, In-App Events and results tracking. I work alongside your marketing and product people so every update and campaign shows up on the listing too.
Why hire a fractional ASO manager instead of an in-house one?
You get someone experienced running ASO continuously without the hiring process or the commitment. You pay upfront, there is no lock-in, and you can stop whenever you like.
How soon will I see results?
Organic growth takes time. That is why I measure monthly rather than weekly: a week is too short to see real movement and it is easy to draw the wrong conclusions. Most of the first month goes into understanding your product and preparing the first changes.
What is in the monthly report?
Impressions, downloads from search and from browse, listing conversion rate, rankings for the keywords that matter and A/B test results, plus what I suggest doing next month.
Which tools do you use?
Day to day I work with Sensor Tower, Looker, App Store Connect, AppsFlyer and Google Play Console.
How much does it cost to hire an outsourced ASO manager?
I do not publish prices, because it depends on how many apps, platforms and languages you have. After the free mini audit I send you a proposal with a fixed-price foundation and optional monthly management.
